When and Where?
The competition will take place on Scholar's Day, Wednesday, April 9th, 2025. The event will take place at the Fannie Barrier Williams Building in the McCue Auditorium.
Eligibility

Open to all full-time and part-time undergraduate students, regardless of major.

Participants can enter individually or as part of a team.
Competition Structure

Submission Round: Students submit their business ideas through an online form by Monday, March 10th by 5 PM.
Presentation Round: Selected teams are invited to present their proposals to a panel of judges, including both internal and external business experts. The final presentation round will be on April 9th.

Awards
Pettis Business Idea Award
A total prize pool of $2,500 is distributed at the judges' discretion, which may result in a single winner or multiple winners receiving varying amounts.
Audience Choice Award – $250 Prize!
We’re excited to introduce a brand-new Audience Choice Award with a $250 cash prize for the team that receives the most votes from the audience. Even if you don’t take home the top competition prize, you still have a chance to win by rallying support!
